This outside screw and yoke valve supervisory switch monitors the open position of OS&Y gate valves in fire sprinkler systems. It is suited for commercial and hospitality properties that need valve tamper supervision at sprinkler control points, with indoor or outdoor use when installed with suitable rated conduit and connectors.

OSYSU-2 double-switch model with two SPDT (Form C) contacts; current Potter stock number is 1010202.
Mounts to most 2" to 12" OS&Y valves and some valves as small as 1/2".
NEMA 4X / NEMA 6P enclosure, visual switch status indication, tamper-resistant cover, and two 1/2" conduit knockouts.
Operating temperature range is -40°F to 140°F.
